Data Retention Period

Unless the User requests deletion of their personal data (under conditions as specified in Article 12), SATT Ouest Valorisation will retain personal data as long as necessary to achieve the purposes described in Article 4, and for a maximum period of sixty (60) months afterward — unless a legal obligation requires a longer retention period.

Right of access: the User may request confirmation of whether their personal data is being processed by our services, and if so, ask for a copy of these data — free of charge, unless the request is manifestly abusive (e.g. repetitive or systematic).
Right to rectification: the User may request correction or updating of inaccurate information about them.
Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”): the User may ask for deletion of information concerning them in our databases, provided that it is no longer relevant for the purposes stated above and as long as there is no legitimate interest or legal obligation justifying their retention.
Right to object and withdraw consent: at any time, the User may request to no longer appear in our databases, unless SATT Ouest Valorisation demonstrates compelling legitimate grounds overriding the User’s interests, rights and freedoms.
Right to request limitation of processing: the User may ask to suspend processing concerning them when:
- they contest the accuracy of the data during verification;
  processing is unlawful but the User opposes deletion and requests limitation of use instead;
- SATT Ouest Valorisation no longer needs the data for the initial purposes but they are still required for legal claims;
- the User has objected to processing pending a decision whether SATT Ouest Valorisation’s legitimate interests override those of the User.
Right to data portability: if technically feasible and when processing is based on consent, the User may request that their personal data be transmitted in a structured format to SATT Ouest Valorisation or to another Data Controller.
Right to define general and/or specific directives on the fate of personal data after death: in case SATT Ouest Valorisation is informed of the User’s death, personal data will be deleted, unless retention is required for legal or regulatory obligations and/or statute-of-limitations periods, possibly after transmission to a third party designated by the User.

The User is informed that they may file a complaint with the national data protection authority (CNIL) in case of dispute.

To ensure confidentiality and protection of personal data, SATT Ouest Valorisation will verify the identity of the person before satisfying such a request. The User will therefore need to provide a copy of an identity document (ID card or passport).
