The term “cookie” covers several technologies enabling navigation tracking or behavioral analysis of the User. These technologies include cookies, tags, pixels, JavaScript code, etc. A cookie is a small text file stored on the User’s computer or mobile device when they visit an online site. SATT Ouest Valorisation may deposit cookies on the User’s device during their visit to the Website. These cookies do not allow the User itself to be identified; however, they record information relating to the User’s connection and navigation as described in the “Personal Data Collected” section.
Cookies deposited by SATT Ouest Valorisation during navigation on the Website have the following purposes:
- Ensure the proper functioning of the Website;
- Record data provided by the User to personalize their browsing experience.
Third-party cookies may also be placed in order to track which services are consulted on the Website and build statistics, e.g. cookies provided by Google Analytics to establish usage stats and performance of site content.
The emission and use of cookies by third parties are subject to their own privacy policies. SATT Ouest Valorisation does not have access to nor control these third-party policies.

- Right to request limitation of processing: the User may ask to suspend processing concerning them when:
- they contest the accuracy of the data during verification;
processing is unlawful but the User opposes deletion and requests limitation of use instead; - SATT Ouest Valorisation no longer needs the data for the initial purposes but they are still required for legal claims;
- the User has objected to processing pending a decision whether SATT Ouest Valorisation’s legitimate interests override those of the User.
- they contest the accuracy of the data during verification;
- Right to data portability: if technically feasible and when processing is based on consent, the User may request that their personal data be transmitted in a structured format to SATT Ouest Valorisation or to another Data Controller.
- Right to define general and/or specific directives on the fate of personal data after death: in case SATT Ouest Valorisation is informed of the User’s death, personal data will be deleted, unless retention is required for legal or regulatory obligations and/or statute-of-limitations periods, possibly after transmission to a third party designated by the User.
The User is informed that they may file a complaint with the national data protection authority (CNIL) in case of dispute.
Requests to exercise these rights must be sent to protected email or to: SATT Ouest Valorisation – Data Protection Officer, 14 C rue du Pâtis Tatelin, 35700 Rennes.
